The Light cult is less my worry, that has interesting potential for conflict when she's overthrown for it. My concern is her being a savior to the forsaken without having earned that position. She has never been *forsaken* yet miraculously is great with the forsaken.

Essentially, how they introduced Calia has messed up any potential for her to get that spot imo. If they showed her as a forsaken in Legion, who had been living in hiding, like Alonsus Faol, it would be better cause, as a forsaken, you'd know she's gone through that struggle

Instead she’s introduced as a human, gets killed for hot minute, gets resurrected in a super special way by a Naruu and that qualifies her to be the ruler of an undead faction firmly associated with darkness and necromancy?

*Sigh* What establishes her as the Ruler of the Forsaken is Voss and the fact Calia cares about the Forsaken as a people and wants to help them. She didn't even want to rule the Forsaken until Voss brought the idea to her. We are literally having a Forsaken MC push for her role.

It's like you're literally being spoon-fed that Voss, a FORSAKEN, is the one who wants to make Calia the leader. It's not Calia running over and slamming her fist on the table and going "I am the leader now!" No, it's they're slowly setting her up with Voss.

And in before the storm, parqual is the one who begs Calia to lead them, not Calia herself. She’s taken aback at first

Or more, even when she begs the forsaken to come to the alliance side, she’s not talking about leading them herself, just that Anduin will help then

She DIED at the hands of sylvanas because she wanted to reunite the families of the humans and the forsaken permanently. Literally the reason she’s undead is because she was trying to help them. This idea that she has no connection to them is a joke

And even if she has struggles with understanding them she still has Faol, Lilian and all sorts of other Forsaken to help her understand. Part of being a leader is listening to your people and if you think Calia wouldn't you've not been paying attention to her character.

I'm not arguing that she won't. I'm saying why should *she* lead from a writing perspective when there are far more capable characters. She admits she doesn't even have leadership experience so there's nothing to set her above other options beyond bloodline.

There really aren't that many Forsaken willing to take up that mantle in general dude. People keep claiming the Forsaken have multiple different characters who could work as the leader of the Forsaken when there really aren't that many. Voss is the only one I can think of.
