It’s Garithos, my dude. The guy who could barely tolerate blood elves and even tried to have them all executed. Sylvanas simply betrayed him before he betrayed them, if anything. Which he literally attempted by trying to exile them from the capital after they defeated Balnazzar.

There’s also Annie from the novel whose family turned away from her after seeing her missing jaw. That was one of the saddest parts of the novel to me because she was so excited to see them and even brought face covering for other forsaken like her
Before the Storm was really a sad book and made me dislike Sylvanas to a whole new level.
