It's POSSIBLE that she could be there on Anduin's wishes. He's sent her over to the other side for the good of Azeroth before.
Maybe she's disagreeing with the Alliance over something. Or it's the fact Anduin isn't there that she is no longer safe when she stands next to them.

Consider this: look at who's there on the Alliance side and who's not. Not Anduin, not Turalyon, not Velen nor Malfurion. Only the leaders who find it very easy to say "YEAH, I'LL SMACK SOME HORDE AROUND!"
