Like Illidan did a lot of horrible shit and still acts like a bit of a dick at times. But he knows when to turn it off and that's what you can like about the guy at least. Nathanos never turns it off.

Not that I know of. The thought just occurred to me at how similar Illidan and Nathanos are and how much better Illidan is in comparison. Not that there was a small leap there. Illidan is better in more than one reason than that boy Nathaniel.

I just wish Illidan would stop spouting one-liners as if they're some great bouts of wisdom. Come to think of it, despite Blizzard having completely retconned his personality twice (in BC and in Legion), that is one aspect that has remained constant for him :/

I actually don't see their flaws the same way. Both have a single minded dedication but Nathanos gets dragged through the mud because he really, really doesn't like people. Think a more fun comparison would be Nathanos to Nazgrim

I was more talking about their "sass". I think Nathanos and Malkorok would be a better comparison if we were to talk on loyalty and utter devotion. Nazgrim had pockets and moments of "I'm gonna do the right thing." or being friendly with the player at least.
