No, it's just removing the line in which Velen says the light will triumph over the shadow signifying that we don't actually want either the light or the shadow to win, both can be just as bad for us and we might have to fight the light too - or some entities of it at least.
I understand people may not like this change or retcon. Lots of people usually freak out whenever we get changes like this. BUT given that we had Velen's arc at the end of Legion it sort of makes sense Velen would feel differently on the light.
