TBC wasn’t a bad expansion, yeah the lore was bad. But at least it’s not like WoD or this current expansion. It’s the expansion where I was the most active starting out.
I liked Battle for Azeroth for it's story and even with Warlords of Draenor's flaws it was a fun expansion until content started to get cut. Had Warlords of Draenor been finished it definitely would've been a good expansion. TBC was finished and it still feels sore.

TBC hardly had any point other than a small buildup to Legion and the introduction to the Draenei to the Alliance and the Blood Elves to the horde. But then again, I was young back then and I didn’t pay too much attention to the lore until much later.

Only thing that I really think that mattered in TBC was the deaths of Illidan, Vashj and Kael'thas so the freedom of Outlands. And the introduction of Garrosh, Blood Elves, and the Draenei. It's interesting looking back on how important Garrosh became.
