OH and BfA was the expansion that brought Vol'jin back as a ghost for us to work with. BfA is like a love letter to me maybe not to every Hordie out there but I loved it for so many reasons. Is it perfect? Hell to no. But is it alright? Yeah.

And take a look at Legion. I honestly feel like it was more of a love letter for most of them. Varian? Got a badass death and Anduin is finally King. Velen has a big arc. Malfurion and Tyrande show up. Turalyon and Alleria return. Magni and Khadgar are doing stuff! (1/2)

I get that Legion was supposed to be an expansion about classes but even when characters were supposed to be neutral they were all Alliance-Neutral characters. Legion had the Horde take a step back is how it felt like when I was playing that expansion. (2/2)

We had this discussions about Factions once. But I for one, thought the Horde stepping down for the main spotlight was a good choice. We had them in MoP and WoD (to a degree, as it was mainly about Orcs). It gives more space for genreal development

I think that a good balance for the Factions is preferable. There is always a "lean" of some kind and I'm not asking that the Horde hog the spotlight from the Alliance. What I am asking for is they at least included a Horde character of some kind to represent us during Legion.

But they do had, with Liadrin, the matriach of the Blood Knights. She was on the Campain in the Paladins hall, was next to Tyrande mainly in Suramar, was on the broken shore and was also on Argus. She was even more present than Tyrande and Malfurion at this point

Liadrin's role was still pretty minor still. I'm not including the Class Halls as they really varied from person to person. Like I played a Hunter and Horde representation was few in that department too. Malfurion and Tyrande were really only present for Val'sharah's story.

I'm very well aware of Liadrin as the "representative of the Horde" but she barely does anything when she's there. Compare this to past expansions where they gave speaking roles and moments for all factions present and Legion leaves a very empty feeling.

Maybe its subjective at this point, but I dont feel like this at all for her. She got quite the voices, the dialoges and also development. She also speaks very well for the past of the Blood Elfs inside the World Quests, where you aid Nightbornes for example

World Quests aren't representation for a faction. That's like saying, "Oh hey Rexxar made an appearance in [Blank] because he told you to pick berries up for Misha for him in a world quest. That means you got your Rexxar cameo for the year!

Liadrin's appearances in Legion weren't good enough to be called a representation of the Horde Faction. They did a better job of this in Wrath of the Lich King and Mists of Pandaria. They equally gave roles for both factions for both sides in various different patches.
