We need to talk about how cool it was for them to steal Ra-den's blood (the Animus) and continuously use it and the Blood Golems created by the Mogu. I really like that they kept with it in WoD, Legion, and even in BfA. I love that continuity.

Its super cool, if the belfs ever get some new models (any day now...) I'd love to see a blood elf styled anima golem. New casing and stuff. Show that they've totally adopted the tech

Mists of Pandaria was a good expansion for so many reasons. But staying on this topic it was really cool how they made Lor'themar a very obscure and basically background leader into an all-time fan-favorite. We have Mists of Pandaria to thank for his status and character.

Yeah from TBC my feelings on belf leadership were just "why is this literally who in charge?" It was like if vanilla launched and Grumble Axeface the orc raider was warchief, because Thrall went insane somewhere. It took MoP to really give him a shine.
