Obviously, because Nathanos is a hot topic right now, I think it's perfectly reasonable and not wrong to dislike him. The same goes vice versa of course. I see just as much pushback to disliking him as to liking him. This can go for multiple villains and not just Nathanos.

Getting onto peoples' cases for their subjective opinions on a fictional character is silly. Everyone in my immediate friend group hates him and I'm the only one who likes him. It's understandable, really, and then opinions on objective analysis aren't personal attacks.
I have friends who like Nathanos and they know I hate him with a passion. We're still friends at the end of the day because that really shouldn't stop people from being hommies.

I get that it's easy for people to make the jump from "I don't like this character/their writing" to "I don't like the fans of this character" because sometimes people on the internet are jackasses but I feel like it's just easy to learn not to read into it unless its specified

I also don't like Sylvanas. BUT I do have friends who're still fans of her. I'll joke & prod as to why they like her but once again we're still friends by the end of it. Honestly, it's childish to end a friendship over fictional characters.
