Me, someone who does not really like Nathanos, and he is in no way a character I desire or favorite whatsoever: I'm going to wish for him to live and stick around.

However, characters like Nathanos, I've never gotten such automatic hateful or negative responses when doing art of him. Even Malfurion too, people were very upset and confused at feeling Good toward him.
I think it's fine to fan-art of a character people hate. Nothing is ever wrong with that. But I don't think that'll fully change how people feel about him either. Nathanos for me isn't even a fun villain to hate. He's more of an annoying antagonist.

I'm not trying to change how people feel about him. When I drew Nathanos simply petting a bat people got really weird about it.
