I didn't think they would kill her only because Telltale isn't like that for their main characters. I think after the first game they realized they had created one of the best female characters in video games and kept her around. In fact I was upset she wasn't in MORE of S3.
I really disliked that S3 didn't focus on her again and instead focused on Javier. It wasn't as if Javier was a bad character or anything but I was just way more interested in what was going on with Clem.

Yeah Javier was fine and I actually liked him but everyone played Walking Dead for Clementine. Javier would've been better off as like a main secondary character in S3 instead of a playable one.

I agree completely. They honestly had a pretty nice relationship too! Very similar to Luke who felt like an older brother to her.
