Today I was told why people like or at least relate to Nathaniel. I get why people like him a bit more now at least. I still am not a fan of him but it helps in this tunnel of confusion.

The player still assisted in those. I honestly don't like characters that are of Nathanos' personality. Illidan had a good balance of "You're doing good but we've still got a lot of work to do." Nathanos and Malkorok are probably under my roster of characters I hate.

Yes, the player "assisted". Didn't do anything that noteworthy. But ever since late Mists onto BfA, the player is force-fed into the story as a "prominent character" in a "world" which they are not a part of. We saw how that turned out in BfA's ending.

I think the main issue with BfA's ending isn't the fact the player got the kill it's the fact that N'zoth died so soon after just escaping and that nothing happened really after N'zoth's death addressing it. That's just my thoughts on that though.
