I don't think they really warrant a full-on class as cool as they are. It's the same reason why I don't think Necromancers & Dark Rangers will ever be a class. BUT, I like the idea of there being new specs for each classes. So Warden for Rogues for instance.
I don't knowww. Using crystals in battle and shadows to teleport. Blizz certainly has more imagination than I do. They managed to pull demon hunter off! I think it could work! New specs for classes does sound like a good idea though. And Mages can use blood magic while death
knights CAN be Necromancer where their attacks can be ranged as opposed to melee.
