The dialogue with Genn/Shaw is..interesting. It's one sided atm but...I'm really surprised that Anduin would just be like, "yeah guys ima go to the maw, me, the young king with no heir. going to the realm of death."
It's possible that they too were present with him and Sylvanas purposely grabbed him or had him grabbed. Or as Anduin typically does and goes there when he wasn't supposed to like he did in 7.2.

How would she have done this if he wasn't nearby? He's clearly going to be at Icecrown and get sucked into the Maw because he's written like a braindead meathead now.

The best way I can think is they say Bolvar is in danger and that makes Anduin want to jump into the fray. I think it makes sense that they want Anduin to jump in and do things still. He never struck me as the king who stayed behind the lines even during MoP he was doing that.
