I really loved those Legion Invasion points. Not only there they incredibly fun, quick, and had the entire server doing them. But it also gave lore characters things to do like Varok, the Council of Three Hammers, Helcular, Gallywix, Gryan, etc.

It felt so damn good to see places like dun morogh -stuffed- with players. Entire legions of flying mounts flying in sync

I was really surprised that the War of Thorns and Battle of Lordaeron were nowhere close to being that good. I wouldn't have minded if the questlines and scenarios were still there own thing but imagine if you had Alliance vs Horde contesting in areas during it.

Let’s be real. The War of Thorns in its entirety was a pile of dogshit.

The Novellas did a better job and honestly, the questlines would've been better had it include those chunky bits of lore.

Yeah but like There should be no conceivable way Malfurion lost that battle...

I think it would've been smart to foreshadow the Jailer at the start of BfA. Explaining that some unseen force was behind helping Sylvanas all the way back to fighting Malfurion really would've helped set the stage. Or just have Malfurion face Sylvanas and Varok at once.

I’m just still acutely upset about Varok getting the backstab on Malfurion I’m petty and can’t let things go easily.
