I'm honestly surprised at how pissed off some people are getting with these new customizations. Like holy jeez. I've seen more outraged about it than anything gameplay-related lately.

Imagine how long those of us in the LGBT community have been waiting for some thing in video games to even slightly represent us. Not that this is even the case. LOL. Just wait until an actual gay couple become main characters in the game.
I think it's perfectly reasonable to ask for representation. At one point in my life, I used to go "ew gay" but I got over that and I wish more people did too.

Normal, well-adjusted, people usually get over this by the time they finish high school. So all the ones who haven’t are either some form of a bigot, dealing with internal hatred themselves, or we’re just taught to hate by their parents

I had a friend tell me he was gay and I didn't believe him and thought he was joking. Over time it helped me with the understanding that people are gay and that hey they're people. It's a bizarre realization now but when you're a kid/teenager you don't fully grasp things.
