N'Zoth dying twelve seconds into the patch was and still is really hard for me to digest. This was an enemy that was being built up since basically the inception of WoW, retroactively in places, and he was just... unceremoniously popped. It feels like we were cheated entirely.
People are gonna give me shit for this. AHEM. N'zoth dying in a single patch is not as bad as Kil'jaeden dying in 7.2. BfA did an -okay- (not amazing) job at building N'zoth up since 8.1. K"J on the other hand responsible for so many things was handled super poorly.

Not only did Kil'jaeden's patch not have a proper storyline with his defeat really centered around it. But he didn't even get to cause causalities, didn't really get to face the people he hurt aside from Velen and Illidan. At least with N'zoth you had Wrathion.

And I'm not saying N'zoth was good either. N'zoth definitely deserved his own expansion which is what I thought we were getting after BfA. Kil'jaeden though fully deserved his own spotlight and a good storyline. K'J should've been the end boss of Legion.
