I know I've said this before but it's a hot topic right now. Its incredibly controversial but I honestly wouldn't mind it if they gave players the option to turn updated graphics on in the Classic Games. Let's the player decide if they wanna play with the old or the new.
The biggest turn away for me when playing Classic isn't just the gameplay but also the graphics themselves. I know that's a very petty and small reason not to play the game which is why it's not my main reason for not playing it. But I really don't like the old models.
I'll probably give WotLK Classic a shot whenever it comes out. But yeah updated models would be a nice option.
In the meantime, I'll just use WoW Classic to get shots of the old world for now.
I've said before that there should be 'true Classic' servers with everything made like how it was and 'QoL Classic' servers with quality of life improvements made to the game over the last 15 years.
I feel like at this point people are just being picky at this point. I'm not asking for them to add Transmog or Store Mounts into Classic WoW. I'm just asking for the choice to enable good graphics or classic graphics. But apparently, that kills the game for people.
I've never understood the controversy over OTHER PEOPLE being able to see better models.
