Ban'orak during Shadowlands is basically him realizing that the afterlife is gonna suck. He spends most of his life disliking the undead and fighting the undead and then becomes undead. Big yikes for the big green boy.

There's probably way more to the afterlife that we'll never see(Cause well infinite realms isn't feasible even for a company that has millions of employees).
While that's true Ban'orak would still get to see Bastion, Ardenweald, Maldraxxus, Revendrath, and the Maw as a "Maw Walker". Meaning he'd still see the ugly side of the realms and show his disdain for it.
