Can't say I would drop Blizzard or WoW for Sylvanas. I'm sorry many people who like her got treated as they did but it isn't like she wasn't set up as a villain since Frozen Throne.
I dropped blizzard for the genocide and ecocide apologetics during the "War of Thorns," where they also character assassinate the entire horde for the third time by making them commit an atrocity reaching the levels of the genocide of Draenor.

IMO she could have always gone either way, nbd about that; for me the problem was the whiplash between her BfA cinematic portrayal and... BfA, starting with Teldrassil hehe
Teldrassil was disgusting. I knew I was gonna hate BFA but the second they were willing to ignore half the Night Elves lore, demonize the horde AGAIN, and give me the pretense that the orcs would once again commit genocide because of ANOTHER tyrant I was done.
