It has been pretty scary to see how many corrupt cops there are but you have to remember that good cops won't be getting much screen time in the media and social media right now. Also this is the US, some countries like the UK have pretty good police, some like China have worse.
I was mainly referring to the US cops right now. I'm not as familiar with those outside our state.

Millions of positive police interactions go unnoticed by media because it doesnt sell and it doesn't rally masses of people for new stories the same way hundreds of cases of excessive force by the hands of bad cops do
