I'm pretty sure you'd find that the vast majority of cops are actually decent people. There are a lot of bad cops but they are definitely outnumbered by the good ones.
I agree there are good ones out there but of late it's been pretty clear how far the rabbit hole goes.

It has been pretty scary to see how many corrupt cops there are but you have to remember that good cops won't be getting much screen time in the media and social media right now. Also this is the US, some countries like the UK have pretty good police, some like China have worse.

I was mainly referring to the US cops right now. I'm not as familiar with those outside our state.
