Hakkar not being used as the main villain of Nazmir/Zandalari in 8.0 will go down in WoW history as one of the worst decisions.
Hakkar being the main threat and Big Bad behind Prophet Zul makes much more sense than a fake Old God. They easily could've had it stated that Hakkar was a result of corruption in the Dream/Ardenweald. He already was nicknamed "The Faceless One" at one point.

Especially since...you know...all the Zandalari that get sent in 4.1 by Zul try to unite the Trolls behind reviving and using Hakkar's spirit as a power source.
