I don't believe this is the solution for several reasons. The void racials are not high elven. A few skin tons of void elves just means they have maybe at most 4-5 options to choose from. Having a blood elf / high elf choose a faction instead would mean more options.

It's more realistic for what blizzard would be willing to do though. Players have wanted high elves forever and Blizzard has made it clear it's a hill they're willing to die on

Sure. But it's not High Elves.

I never said it would be, I presented what I said originally as a realistic compromise.

I'm not settling for a compromise though. The technology exists, and the requests for High Elves have been put out and oncoming. You're not going to convince me that I should settle for something lesser for the highest requested Alliance races of all time.

That's all speculation. I'd rather try than sit around dawdling, hoping for it to magically happen. Saying "it won't happen" doesn't do anything.
