.. I'd say it's not "High Elves" in the Horde, but Sin'dorei with blue eyes. People too often just see them as the same race, even though they have significantly differing cultures due to the aftermath of the Third War. A Sin'dorei is still a Sin'dorei.

Well, the vast majority of the people who were driven out mainly because they identified themselves as "Quel'Dorei" and never simply put themselves as "Sin'dorei" but with blue eyes.

Lore-wise, the Blood elves were the ones who'd interact with them the most (Dalaran, Isle of thunder, etc.) And even then, they've been allowed worship in the Sunwell since the end of BC. So pretty much the big beef has been with those "proud alliance" high elves

City was Orgrimmar where they were pushed out from. Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Goblins, etc didn't really want a Quel'dorei in the city, especially after the Purge of Dalaran. Can't say I blamed them.

High Elves were more Alliance aligned then Blood Elves IMO.

I'm going to give my character blue eyes but he is still Blood Elf. I think it just fits him better since he is arcane mage. I guess I'm not the only one who is going to RP their characters that way.

They aren't High Elves truly. To be a High Elf is more of a cultural thing though they are generally paler in skin and hair. To be a High Elf, you have to be apart of the Alliance or at least not embrace the Horde and stay true to their history.

If the thing about the blue eyes is true then it’ll be awkward when blue eyed blood elves walk into a horde city or town, possibly worried that the guards will confuse em with high elves and shoot them.
