It's the scorpion and the frog. Peace will only last till one faction wants something that belongs to the other. This isn't a great philosophical insight. It's just the way the game was written. The rest of the Alliance isn't going to play nice just because Anduin tells them to.

And this can open for very interesting storylines since the Alliance has usually only been portrayed as a perfect Faction with very little problems going on within its faction. But I think it'll still end how it usually does with those for Peace winning.

I'd actually be ok with my nelfs going berserk, be the bad guys. But take complete control of Kalimdor North of Duratar and West of Mulgore down as far as Silithus. Then when we come back to our senses we get to keep what we took. "We'll be good. Really! You can totally trust us"

I think that lessons should be taken from Teldrassil and Lordaeron. I don't think torching or taking territories beloved by the players are a good idea unless you return them to the players in some shape or form. So the taking of Kalimdor would essentially be short-lived then.

Then at the very least can the orcs be removed from Ashenvale? Now would seem to be the time. Technically the devs are redoing the starting experiences anyway, and in game you'd think it would be high on the peace treaty terms - Nelf participation or not.

Thoughts? I think this would fit with what you were saying. Maybe Northern Stranglethorn could be given to the Trolls at the same time.
