TBC was BFA before BFA when it comes to cramming many recognized characters and wasting them.

I'd disagree with that. TBC will forever stand as the expansion that ruined multiple characters. BfA maybe ruined like a few? And one of them was Sylvanas so eh. Point being TBC ruined Kael'thas, Vash'j, Illidan, Gruul, Kil'jaeden, Kargath, and so on.

My stance on TBC is rather firm on it being the worst expac people only look back on fondly because it was the first and they didn't know better. As unfinished as it was, even WoD was better.

Definitely wasn’t there for TBC during its prime but playing through the zones? Feels like a fever dream sometimes man. You’ve got (now) notable people like Kargath Bladefist showing up in dungeons and not quite sure why they’re in there. Or maybe I should brush up on old lore—
