I think he's referring to the lines from A Good War and the affirmation within the events of 8.2.5 where in it was objectively stated Sylvanas had majority in-lore Horde support even after the Burning of Teldrassil. Horde shamans specifically spread the fires.

No, but the majority of them being in support of bloodthirsty actions is. That was the whole point of Saurfang's moral journey. He realizes the Horde has never lived up to his ideologies. I sense some satire in Dave's original comment too. So I think I get what he's saying. Its-

Which is exactly why so many Horde players despise BfA's writing. Because it was laughably awful. These players who then try explain they aren't like that are instantly shot down by Alliance loving fanboys who scream that they are. And then Sylvanas loyalists start spamming-

I personally quite liked Battle for Azeroth's writing. What is making me bewildered here is what people took away from the storyline and arcs the characters went on. Who in the hell took away from this, "Oh yeah. The Horde are mainly all evil." What.

The entire purpose of BfA was proving to Saurfang that Sylvanas is the true heir of the Horde's legacy and the majority of the Horde didn't stand with him. The only thing that changed the Horde from being bloodthirsty to peaceful is Sylvanas called them big doodoo heads.
