- Han Solo is killed off by his son in the first movie and is portrayed as a washed-up has-been. - Luke Skywalker is killed off by doing a thing and is a washed-up has-been. - C3-PO's sacrifice is played off as a joke. - R2-D2 is barely in the movies.
The worst thing you can do for any movie is: 1. Portray characters people like wrongly. 2. Be boring. Only characters I found remotely interesting in the Sequels were the OGs and Kyle Ren. Everybody else was honestly a snore and the treatment Finn got in the movies was awful.

"Wrongly," except if its canon they aren't wrong. It may not be how you like but it isn't wrong. It was refreshing seeing that Luke didn't ride off into the sunset happy IMO.

Still really didn't like it. In my own eyes it was wrong.
