I know not a lot leave me and I'd hate to sound pessimistic but I really don't think Shadowlands is going to be good. I think they're going to really hype up the new customization options which should have been options for years now and leave a lot of other things

Removal of titanforging/wf, more deterministic rewards, Torghast, beautiful zones, legendary items with choice, revamped leveling. All that is way more hype than new customization.

All thats good, but I have to agree with Skoll on this, I am more worried about the lack of lore right now.

What are you talking about? There’s going to be tons of lore. Torghast is going to have lore about the helm of domination and frostmourne. Ardenweald is all about wild gods and loa, plenty of lore there. Lore about the spirit healers and the origins of the scourge. There’s plenty

I suppose? While it will be neat those are all things that were roughly covered before. Its nice but I am hoping for a lot more then that.

Most of the new lore comes from the Venthyr and the maw. There’s plenty to be explored in that regard. Not to mention what Bolvar can tell us after spending like half a decade or so sitting in the middle.

"Can" is the keyword here though. Sure we have the opportunity to see a bunch of new stuff but as we know, Blizz has a loooooooooooong history of leaving stuff unfinished

I already feel like lore is going to suck, BUT, I will take a shitty story with great gameplay over BFA with shitty both. SL's gameplay and design philosophy are what is giving me so much hope for this expansion.
