I'll remain firm that Battle for Azeroth's teaser trailer was absolute hype in every regard. It's a shame that not everything turned out that great but man did Jaina Proudmoore's narration over the whole thing give me chills. I already feel like lore is going to suck, BUT, I will take a shitty story with great gameplay over BFA with shitty both. SL's gameplay and design philosophy are what is giving me so much hope for this expansion.
I personally quite liked most of Battle for Azeroth's story. Really only part I didn't like too much was Sylvanas and N'zoth. I care for one care more about story than gameplay.

I'll agree with that. The really bad parts were the whole story of 8.2 and onward and what they did to Sylvanas' character. It literally felt like 2 expansion stories crammed together in one box and neither had any room to breathe. Just rushed.

I really liked most of 8.0 to 8.2.5 that's really where the big chunks of BfA that I liked. The moment Visions of N'zoth occurred (mainly the ending and raid) is where I stopped liking the expansion as much.
