The point is: there is nothing to explain. It is just really dumb. It also just damages the Horde side as much as Alliance, because, instead of bringing two former Alliance heroes back (again), those two could have been two new Zekahns which enrich the Horde on its own
But real though this was dumb and should've been explained better.
I mainly meant explaining on why she turned. Like... a good example is why Garona supported Sylvanas. The reality if you were a rogue she would explain why and the reason isn't because she truly supports her. Imagine if instead, they were faking it? Like Godfrey did.

The problem there is: For the whole sake, they just flipped a switch and went from."Vengeance for my home" to "Death to the Alliance". There was not a single nuance. Right that moment on that said shore they just proclaimed to be forsaken - why? Tyrande came to rescue them there

To further elaborate: We could have pulled a Godfrey, for sure, but Godfray was shady in his life before, he didnt changed his personality. Sira and Delaryn do however, they just went from protection of their homeland to killing their own breatheren.
