I remember reading it on mmochamp and I thought it was a joke. >she dies and comes back and says "we are forsaken!!!" and is purple and goes to the red team >"haha what a funny simplification" And then I played it! OOPS IT WAS VERBATIM ALL ALONG!
We all know the Alliance has been wanting to join the Horde the whole time. They finally made it a quest is all. 
But real though this was dumb and should've been explained better.

The point is: there is nothing to explain. It is just really dumb. It also just damages the Horde side as much as Alliance, because, instead of bringing two former Alliance heroes back (again), those two could have been two new Zekahns which enrich the Horde on its own

But now you had during the whole Warcampain one major theme - resurrection of former Alliance heroes. Its lazy, because its easier just to make someome blue now red, instead building stronger and new longer lasting heroes on their own
