It's been said before but I'll say it again Varok's arc was not only amazing & beautiful but what it said for the Forsaken left behind by Sylvanas - to chant their banners against metal & stone in his name was just great. It's a shame people will regard Battle for Azeroth as a "bad expansion" with a "bad story" I really don't think it is especially given this whole story with Saurfang and especially the story with Jaina as well.

He wasn't. But the forsaken, prior to the duel, had every reason to believe he was. That's what makes this moment so powerful. Varok showed concern over killing Forsaken within Orgrimmar despite everything and died alone not just for the Alliance and Horde but for them as well.

It's hard for me to get back into WoW... too much going over in ESO for me. But Varok's arc is what kept me coming back during BFA hands down. I went through a phase where I was watching "reaction" videos to his cinematics.
