I've rewatched the Cinematic of where Sylvanas arrives to take on Bolvar. And say what you will but Bolvar was very much the underdog the entire fight there wasn't really a moment where he was defeating her. But the cinematic I think was trying to paint her as the hero? (1)
It's just frustrating because it's clear to me that Bolvar isn't a bad guy. Sure he had his moments in both Legion and Bfa where he's not fully Bolvar anymore but he warned people constantly before engaging. Bolvar is a true hero of Azeroth and deserves mad respect. (2)

Like... the guy gave up so much so Azeroth could not face the threat of undeath or the scourge again and Sylvanas ruins that. And then people are like, "Bolvar is a bitch lol." Bolvar was very much on purpose trying to weaken the scourge so Azeroth could be at peace.
Bolvar deserves a hug, a cup of tea, a nice sit down in a warm comfortable chair, and to meet his daughter.
And a reward for all that he's done for Azeroth and the Alliance.
I've said it once and I'll say it again. Chances are the only reason why we saw a very brief and somewhat underwhelming fight was due to Cinematic restraints. I'm sure(and hoping) The tie-in book depicts a much more even struggle between the two.
Initially my death knight disliked him, to her he was just another lich king and there was no way he could be any better then Arthas, he was just biding his time. Recently he has won her over however.

I know right? Bolvar does not deserve all this crap. He did what he this for the greater good. Other people just wants to crap on him because he is not her. They crap on all the characters that do not follower her.
