People kept saying that the Machine of Death in #Shadowlands is broken at least after Burning Crusade since Kael'thas is the latest to die. But did y'all forget that Uther's soul has been trapped in Frostmourne until the Fall of the Lich King? Can't go to SL without a soul.

Correction: They said the machine of death was broken at the start of Legion. Right around the time before Vol'jin and Varian died.

Do we think that Sylvanas was instrumental in breaking the machine and knew about it at the time of the Broken Shore? Or did those events simply provide an opportunity to progress the plans of the Jailer. She look genuinely surprised when Vol'jin was injured & made her Warchief.

I'm gonna give a guess that she was unaware of Mueh'zala's initial involvement until much later. Like... we see that beings like Helya and Eyir are something Sylvanas fears or is forced to work with. After BfA it's clear she's now their equal somewhat.

Is Mueh'zala's involvement confirmed? In what way has he been involved (I haven't been keeping up with the alpha). (In terms of Sylvanas, I like her as a character and I like to think she still had some 'goodness' in her at least until her appointment to WC.)

I can't really agree with Sylvanas being "good" after everything. Wrath of the Lich King was probably the tail-end of anything left of her that was a positive as back then she had reason and purpose for vengeance now she's taking it out on everyone.

The fact that she looked concerned when Vol'jin was injured made me feel that there was some compassion left in her. A truly evil person would smile at the sight of a dying superior. New upward mobility opportunity. I'll never stop hoping she's Kerriganed.

Sylvanas has a master's degree in manipulation, and playing people with their emotions. Defeating the Legion was crucial to her survival so of course she would have the Horde rally behind her in a positive light when Vol'jin died. At most she had may had respect for him.

It's funny how you and I are mirror images of each other on this issue. I see Garrosh as an irredeemable villain, and Sylvanas as a victim of forces outside her control. And I think your opinion is the exact opposite. I wonder how many people think were both nuts.

Both characters, in my opinion, can be redeemed. Do I think Garrosh should be? Absolutely. Do I think Sylvanas should be? No. There were nuggets of moments where Garrosh showed signs of being good while Sylvanas there hasn't been in a long while.

Let's make a deal. If Blizzard puts us in charge of the story development team (which they definitely should) I'll sign off on your Garrosh redemption story if you sign of on mine about Sylvanas
. (I also have some pretty firm ideas about Elune be we can discuss those in Irvine)1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 0 polubionych -
