Unpopular opinion possibly. I don't want to see Arthas in Shadowlands. Nowhere at all. His story is one of the much greater parts of Warcraft history, and it should remain bookended. There's a potential to tack on greatness, but I think it's best to just let it remain contained.

I think there’s an actual chance that they’re going to thrown Ner’zhul under the bus and make him completely at fault for Arthas. They sort of hinted at it in Legion. And... somewhat in Wrath I guess too with Uther and Jaina’s Halls of Reflection dialogue.

Isnt there a thing somewhere in game where, its Nerzhul, the good Arthas, and the Lich King Arthas all fighting. And Lich King Arthas defeats the other two, taking full control? Or something like that? Been awhile. Assumed the Legion thing was those other two, still stuck there.

Arthas rid both his humanity and Ner'zhul when they were fighting over control for the body. Ner'zhul didn't see it coming at all. There's lingering of Ner'zhul left in Arthas the Lich King but it's very very little when it came to fighting him.

I think thats what that Echo was recreating. When you pick up the recreated Frostmourne, you're having to fight those voices too.

Well. Frostmourne's whole purpose is to take the souls of its wielders. Ner'zhul and Arthas are the only other wielders besides the Deathlord.
