This is personally one of the worst punishments I could honestly think the Alliance doing to the Horde and that's why I gotta say no. Taking children away from their parents would not result in a proper peace - it would, in fact, make things worse.

Saurfang would have to have challenge Sylvanas publically. And there's a high chance that she wouldn't reveal how much of a snake and liar she was in their battle. Saurfang only was able to make Sylvanas lose her cool by hitting her with Varian's sword(s).

The sword was what landed the blow - only it could split into two and truly surprise her in a tactical hit. But what really caused her words to bubble out was the fact Saurfang made a rebellion of Alliance and Horde against her possible.
