Shadowlands alpha news got me slightly excited for WoW again, so I logged on, did two horrific visions, and had the 2nd run screw me when it stuck the ring of ghosts that stun you with the miniboss in SW that just happened to jump on me and do her aoe sanity drain simultaneously.
Battle for Azeroth did its damage (even though I liked it) the news on Shadowlands has me somewhat excited but for the first time I am very skeptical of this expansion in particular. I'm very hopeful this will be one of the good ones.
So you're both very skeptical & very hopeful? I donno this is the first expansion that I'm not preordering. I've preordered every single one since BC but BfA was the last straw for me. I can no longer trust that if I give Blizzard my money ahead of time, I'll get a good product
It's funny because for me it's the opposite. Shadowlands is the first one I pre-ordered. I only played Legion by the end and played BfA from start. Legion turned out to be cool (it helped that I jumped in later - the content got condensed and there was a lot to do). ...
