There are certain allied races that it works that they fully joined the Alliance or the Horde. The Nightborne, in my opinion, was one of the ones that worked just it wasn't fleshed out the best in-game. Highmountain and Lightforged made complete sense to join the Horde/Alliance.

Eghhh to me, not really. Like the whole quest arc with the Nightborne was so involved, it just felt so dang cheap how after all ya do for them with the tree an making them not withered anymore.. they just forget that? Esp when both sides helped them take their city back.

The whole "but tyrande said something mean" was just dumb an I will forever hate it. Not just cause of poor writing, but because she did have a right to be wary of them tho it shouldn't be her sole say in the matter.

They'd make sense as a neutral race but given how much they have in common with the belfs and how much of an uphill fight it'd be with their actual cousins it aint ludicrous to me. (Highmountain should have been alliance tho tbh, both factions did that content too)

I don't agree Highmountain should've been Alliance. There's just certain races that should never be on the other faction's side and Tauren, Orcs and Trolls are those on the Horde that should never be boys in blue.

I'm sorta against races being thrown onto factions for basic biological reasons. "They are cows so they go with the other cows"

When the Tauren bein Horde is just the result of super specific circumstances with Cairne and the Centaur, and the Highmountain have more in common with their battle brothers, the night elves, than anyone else. Going as far as to bear Cenarius' blessing on their heads to this day

I get what you mean, as far as video game logic and aesthetic stuff. But in any other story these bois would be living it up in Teldrassil post Legion, until they got charbroiled anyway.

That is an interesting take, I haven't thought of it in this way, but it kinda makes sense. Still, I'd prolly would not want to see them in the Alliance, mostly because of BfA events (AxH), yet you have Teldrassil though, hmm

I quite liked BfA but that's me honestly. Weakest parts of Battle for Azeroth was really the stuff with N'zoth for me which is unfortunate considering Wrathion was a huge part of that.

I'd say he was the biggest hightlight of 8.3 though!
