Well they were prominent in the war campaign and the first quests, it was hard to avoid them imo. Saurfang was a redeeming factor for sure, stopped me from completely dropping the game
Sylvanas was basically barely in BfA and only showed up momentarily and sure she was a pain but again a pain you only dealt with occasionally. Nathanos was all over the place but they mainly stopped using him around 8.2 with minor cameos here and there.

It really should be stated but Sylvanas isn't the Horde and never represented what the Horde was. Battle for Azeroth was the expansion that drove her out finally and that should be slated as a good thing.
