It does seem like they're setting up Calia to lead the Forsaken, sure you've got the China Interview but she's not gonna lead them right away. I don't think Calia's aid with those Undead Kaldorei should lead to them joining the Horde but just lead to their own healing really.

We accept that Blood Elves will readily put aside thousands of years of grudge holding and bloodshed with trolls because the Horde is Family™ But also that the decade old conflict between the Alliance and Horde is too much a divide to bridge.
The Darkspear are probably the first and only Trolls the Sin'dorei or Blood Elves gained respect for. Especially since it was Vol'jin who warned both High Elves and Blood Elves of the return of the Amani threat.
