I actually find it really surprising that we didn't get a Dark Ranger class in Shadowlands. I'm not the biggest Sylvanas fan but thematically it would have fit great and new classes are always so fun.
I don't see Dark Ranger really functioning that well as a Class on its own. As an extra spec maybe but not as an entire class. I am personally fine with no class so they can focus on the customization features and our own current classes.

I think it could work fine especially given the direction of the story at the end of BFA. Considering all the new races having a new class to play around with could have been fun. I wouldn't be surprised if we get them in a cosmetic form for forsaken though
