Every now and again I think about #Shadowlands and how we didn't get a Necromancer as a new class and I get angry about it all over again.

Also Demonology is much better, imo, and much closer to what the fantasy of a Master Summoner should be, since Demon Hunters came about. Demonology should never have been about turning into a Demon, but controlling a ton and more and more powerful ones.
That I sort of agree with but I also haven't had as much fun as I did during Mists when I had a pair of demon wings on my Warlock.

I would tweak Demonology to be mostly the same but building up some kind of resource slowly toward a big, poweful Demon, like a Dreadlord, who pops out for a short amount of time and does a ton of damage. And during that duration you'd sprout wings and also do more damage.

Some friends and I puzzled over a way to reintroduce metamorphosis without stepping on DH toes. I think a cool way would be to base it on Gul'dans transformation. You succ up all your demons and hulk out on fel for a bit. Something of a risky last resort like Surrender to Madnesspic.twitter.com/IIRkFktPKc
