We foiled all her scheming and she was even captured by N'Zoth. If we hadn't stepped in to kill N'Zoth ourselves because of our own instinct for self-preservation do you think that would have ended well for her? Even if all her plans worked as planned she'd fail.

It still worked out in the end though and she's still a threat out there. That's the main point. Same goes for Sylvanas in Saurfang's own words she kept failing and has yet to succeed -- but she's still a threat out there ready to fight another day.
