sorry for the late night salt but once again I'm mad about nightborne joining horde like LMAO both sides helped them overthrow Elisande but went strictly horde just bc Tyrande was mean??? oh my god

Both arguments are def valid, but it just feels weird to me when people say "we did content, we get race" when both sides did the content.
-
The story of the belfs being the ones to reach out and make alliances with Suramar, connecting over their shared experiences and racial theme holds more weight to me than "they were nelfs 10k years ago" Imma mute now tho cause this is not a fun topic lol

I don't know. The Nightborne seemed to be pretty focused on Tyrande and not over the druid coven that cured them of withering already and it seems to be easy to ignore Alliance Highborne. Making friends with the Horde made sense. Betraying and murdering the Kaldorei felt jarring

They eventually figured out what they wanted to do with Thallysra more properly in Naz'jatar. As someone who pushes for unity between Alliance and Horde but still has Lor'themar's back.

It would make sense if Highborne came out to help even if tyrande snubbed them so the nightborne ended up a more neutral faction? But overall they have more in common with the blood elves, and tyrande was very like “I don’t actually want to help these guys at all lol” so Eh
-
Iirc she didn’t even want the Highborne in but somebody else was like “god please unclench” and she begrudgingly let them hang. If I were ever to RP a Highborne I’d prolly have them hanging out with goat mages because I Too Am Old Blue And Love Magic
