I can’t remember but wasn’t it confirmed that two different groups were working on lore, and one wanted Garrosh to become a hero and the other wanted Garrosh to become a villain... because Garrosh deserved to be a hero

The son of Grom, the orc who redeemed himself and his people after his many crimes, should have been our warchief

Agreed. It would have been a much sharper narrative if Garrosh had overcome his prejudices and learned from the Old Horde's mistakes, then topped it off by sacrificing himself to protect the WHOLE Horde against the Legion, just like his father. Also Vol'jin would still be alive.

I wanted the Broken Shore, had Garrosh survive, that not only with Garrosh give himself for Azeroth side by side with Varian but also help Thrall up and give him his goodbyes as a true friend or brother. Garrosh & Thrall's dynamic was my favorite thing in Wrath of the Lich King.
