I would respect the hell out of Blizz if the next allied race was Azshara herself courting one of the factions and joining them. I don't know if they can do it in a way that feels right or makes sense, but I'd respect the mess all the same as a successful landing tbh.

I am still hoping for an expansion/patch where we go to Draenor, and we get Ogre allied race for Horde and Arakkoa for Alliance. Went through Spires of Arak again today and my arakkoa love was reignited. Fifty Layers of Shadow, Fifty La- PERCIVAL! YOU PUT THAT BACK THIS INSTANT!
I'm biased to Mok'Nathal for an Allied Race but Ogres and Arakkoa would be awesome too.

I don't think Mok'Nathal would be an Allied Race sadly, but when Shadowlands gives customisation to normal races, perhaps Mag'har orcs could get Mok'Nathal customisation later on. Their traits are similar, and racials would make sense.
