One of the only things I disliked about WotLK was the treatment to my boy Anub'arak and recently on stream I cam to the idea of how it would've been really cool if Sylvanas managed to free Anub'arak & he helped us take down the Lich King. And then following after either her death or her leaving of the Horde Anub'arak would take on the role of leader of the Forsaken representing those who are freed and constructing a new life for themselves outside of their original societies. Anub'arak deserved this.
I remember when the Old Kingdom was slated to be an entire questing/lore zone, but they scrapped it and turned it into two dungeons.
