I'm kind of thankful I grew up with Cartoons like Avatar, Teen Titans, Batman Beyond and several animes. Wouldn't be the person I was without the likes of Toonami honestly.
I remember having to wait to watch the television whenever my dad or grandma was watching it just so I could watch Naruto at 9:30 and then had to go to sleep afterward. I also remember how pissed I was when Toonami was canceled and ended up having to watch it on the internet.
